Hey, I'm Jared - or Jrade, if you've seen me around the internet before - and I write things. I write a lot of things. I don't publish most of what I write (*) because I'm a bit worried about just flooding and leaving people overwhelmed and helplessly flailing before they succumb and slip below the waves of my outpourings.

Also, sometimes, I get a bit dramatic.

I try to write a mixture of things. I don't want to get pigeonholed or locked in to one place, and I have a bit of a visceral aversion to the concept of branding, so if you read one of my things and want something similar, make sure you're either reading summaries, asking (me or another reader), or - if enough people ask - I may curate some lists. Alternately, just read; maybe you'll find you like something you wouldn't have otherwise tried?

I do write about adult themes sometimes, including violence, sexuality, and real-world problems like prejudice, capitalism, and- let's be honest mostly capitalism. I try to inject a bit of humour or lightness into almost everything though!

I like to think my writing's pretty good. Most - if not all - of my works will go up in a somewhat restricted form on my website, jaredgoring.com, if you want to read them there free of charge. They won't have author commentary, title pages, cover art, internal maps and images if any, or other goodies like that, but if you want the stories and the writing you can have them there!

(*although if anyone wants to read several million [no, that is not a typo: current total count is 1.5 million words and I'm about 15% of the way through] words of an overnight party thrown in a fantasy world, including a lot of flirting and jokes and smut and fun and games, told from the point of view of every attendee at the party individually [characters' books ranging from 150k words to over 400k], go ahead and contact me XD)
